Refund and cancellation policy
This policy applies to professional audit and briefing engagements with Clearwater Risk Review. It does not cover physical goods, software licences, or subscription products—we do not sell those.
Eligibility overview
Refunds depend on how much preparatory or fieldwork has begun, and whether a calendar slot was reserved with a deposit. All requests should be emailed to hello@secureautorout.digital with the engagement reference.
Deposits
Deposits reserve reviewer time. If you cancel more than fourteen days before the agreed fieldwork start, the deposit is refundable minus a NT$8,000 administration fee. Cancellations inside fourteen days forfeit the deposit unless we successfully rebook the slot with another client for the same window.
Full refunds
If we cancel an engagement for reasons other than your material breach or failure to provide essential access, you receive a full refund of sums paid for undelivered work.
Partial refunds
If you cancel after fieldwork has started, fees for completed stages (scoping, evidence review, sample testing, drafting) remain payable. Any unused prepaid balance for unstarted stages is refundable within thirty days of written cancellation.
Non-refundable items
Travel already purchased at your request, third-party data-room fees advanced on your behalf, and completed board briefing sessions are non-refundable. Time spent on draft memoranda already shared with you is likewise non-refundable.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without charge if notice is given at least ten days before fieldwork start and a new window within ninety days is agreed. Further moves may incur a NT$12,000 rescheduling fee.
No-shows
If scheduled walkthrough participants fail to attend without twenty-four hours’ notice, that day may be billed as delivered and a replacement day quoted separately.
Work already started
Once evidence review or sampling has begun, findings drafts prepared to that date remain billable even if you discontinue the engagement. You may request delivery of work-in-progress under the confidentiality terms in the engagement letter.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within fourteen business days after approval. Bank transfer fees charged by intermediaries are deducted only when required by the paying bank.
How to request a refund
Email hello@secureautorout.digital or call +886-9-289-5260 with your company name, engagement dates, and reason. We confirm receipt within two business days and issue a written decision within ten business days.
Exceptions
Mandatory cooling-off rights under Taiwanese consumer law, where applicable to eligible individuals, are honoured. Business-to-business engagements follow the signed letter and this policy.
